WRITE CONGRESS TO SUPPORT THE TAXPAYERS' CANCER RESEARCH FUNDING ACT
Rep. Peter King (NY-3) has introduced H.R. 3466 that would establish and provide a checkoff for a Breast and Prostate Cancer Research Fund on your annual tax return. The checkoff would allow the taxpayer to designate an amount that would be used to fund breast and prostate cancer research.
Contact your Representative today and ASK THEM TO COSPONSOR H.R. 3466 - The Taxpayers' Cancer Research Funding Act of 2011.
...U.S. Government is Wrong on Eliminating Prostate Cancer Testing
The United States Preventative Services Task Force has prepared a recommendation against prostate cancer testing for ALL MEN. Among the many problems with this rash action is the fact that many men are high-risk not just for diagnosis but to DIE from prostate cancer. Such a recommendation threatens to put them into harms way by telling their doctors that they should not be tested for prostate cancer....
