Support the National Criminal Justice Commission Act

On March 8, 2017, U.S. Senators John Cornyn (R-TX), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Gary Peters (D-MI) introduced the bipartisan National Criminal Justice Commission Act (S. 573), legislation that would create a National Criminal Justice Commission to review the criminal justice system from top to bottom and propose reforms to address the most pressing issues facing the nation’s criminal justice system.

The IACP urges you to reach out to your Senator to express your support for this important legislation. It is imperative that they hear directly from the law enforcement community about the need for a comprehensive review and report on the state of the criminal justice system in the United States.
