Action Alert
Take Action Last Chance for Sentencing Reform
Call your Representatives Now!

Congress returned to Washington on Tuesday. The next 36 HOURS are key to making sure politics doesn’t stop justice for the millions living under mass incarceration.

Congress can enact meaningful criminal justice reform later this month before they leave again for the campaign trail. It WILL NOT  happen if politics get in the way.

These bills move us away from a system of retribution to a system of redemption. The Speaker and a bipartisan group of legislators would like to bring a package to the floor later this month: the Sentencing Reform Act H.R.3713, the Recidivism Risk Reduction Act H.R.759, and the Second Chance Act H.R.3406.

Call your Representative and urge them to bring sentencing reform to the House floor later this month!!

There is agreement that our criminal justice system does not work, breaks families and communities, and costs the taxpayer far too much! If these vital reforms come to the floor we would see meaningful change in the lives of thousands—and set the tone to help millions in the future! This is about racial justice, fairness, and creating change in the lives of thousands.

Call your Representative TODAY and urge them to bring Sentencing Reform to the House floor!
