On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, House Ag Committee Chairman Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) and Representative Jerry Moran (R- Kan.) introduced H.R. 4645, the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act.  This legislation would level the playing field for American farmers and increase one-way agricultural trade from the U.S. to Cuba.  This bill also lifts travel restrictions to Cuba, which is an important step towards increasing demand for U.S. agricultural exports.
