Say No to Repeal of Smoker Protection Law
A group of Indiana health and business organizations are pushing for and supporting a bill that was introduced recently by State Senator Liz Brown of Fort Wayne and would repeal protections for smokers from employment decisions.  The bill, SB 23, would repeal a 1991 law prohibiting businesses from requiring employees to stop the use of tobacco products even when not "on the clock" at their jobs.  Take action now, contact your members of the Indiana House of Representatives and Senate and respectfully ask them not to support SB 23.
