Some Senators and Representatives appear eager to offer E-Verify amendments to any moving legislation at any time. We have to remind Congress that E-Verify is not the solution to our problems. Expanding mandatory E-Verify would actually threaten the jobs of thousands of U.S. citizens and saddle U.S. businesses with additional costs-all at a time when we need to stimulate our economy.  Expanding E-Verify now would be in direct contradiction to the goal of creating jobs and would slow America's economic recovery. Tell Congress that E-Verify is not the solution! 

The governor of Arizona just signed the toughest anti-immigration law in the country, giving police the authority to determine people's immigration status based on "reasonable suspicion" or more bluntly put, the right to racially profile immigrants.
